For D&Ad New Blood 2025, I entered the breif set by Depop with my idea Depop Visions.
Brief:
Depop has consistently been the youth resale platform in the UK. However, with a more crowded market than ever before, how might we make Depop the talk of the town once again for those who have forgotten or dismissed them? The brief challenge is to develop a campaign that gets people not only talking about Depop, but engaging with it too.
Fashion inspiration is everywhere online, but it always leads users to buying brand new items.
Whilst Depop promotes sustainable fashion, finding trendy clothes takes time and effort as users must hunt through masses of listings, this creates a barrier that pushes people towards fast fashion instead of Depop
Depop Visions is a new way to discover clothes on Depop, though community curated style collections. Visions are collections of Depop listings that are named using three words that describe their style. Users can search for and follow Visions, with popular visions appearing on the trending page. Users can share their Visions on social media, creating a new wave of fashion inspiration on Depop
Visions will bridge the gap between getting inspired online and finding those styles on Depop. Making Depop the most exciting, relevant, and inspirational platform again.
